Diversity

Recognising and understanding people’s differences and seeing these as a positive thing.

Globalization and interdependence

The connections between people, places, economies and environments The choices that individuals, organisations and nations make and the impact that these have on a local and global scale.

Peace and conflict

Peace implies the presence of healthy, fair relationships and an absence of aggression, violence or hostility.

Social justice and equity

The entitlement of everyone to be treated fairly and have their basic needs met.

Sustainable development

The need to maintain and improve the quality of life now without damaging the planet for future generations.
