Aims: This section will help you explore your ideas about school partnerships and introduce the particular features of global education partnerships.

Global education partnerships prioritise learning together and equitable, sustainable relationships.
Global education partnerships are often formed between schools with very different levels of resourcing. Typically the UK partner will be comparatively well-resourced while the partner school in Africa, Asia, Latin America or the Caribbean will be less well resourced. However, not all global education partnerships exemplify a one-directional rich-poor divide. There are cases of partnerships which bring together UK schools in socially and/or economically deprived situations with well-resourced partners.
